I’ve got a new favorite metric.  

Video games and apps that compete for your free time measure “time-to-fun,” which is the amount of time it takes you to get to the value of the product.  

It’s interesting to consider how that metric can be applied to anything you create including:  

• Newsletters

• Blog posts

• Podcast episodes

• Videos

• Landing pages
