The 3252

LAFC joined Major League Soccer as a new franchise a few years ago.

They created a section of their stadium for their most passionate fans and called it The 3252, based on the number of seats in the section.

It was modeled after what legendary German club Borussia Dortmund has done, and LAFC paid to send leaders of 12 of its supporter groups to Germany to go to Dortmund games, meet with their supporters, and learn from them.

The result has been LAFC has created one of the most rabid environments in the league.

Turns out enthusiasm can be learned (and taught).
