The walking test

Stanford students were given a common object like a frisbee and asked to list as many creative uses for it as they could come up with.  

Half the students sat for an hour before being given the challenge and the other half walked on a treadmill before doing it.  

The ones who walked had 60% higher creativity scores than the ones who didn’t.  

Next time you need to come up with an idea, go for a walk.
