I have a client who wants to sell a course, but isn’t quite sure what he should teach in it.
I asked him a simple question:
When you start working with a new client, what do you tell them and ask them in that first one-hour meeting together? What’s the agenda for that meeting?
Make that your course.
Because whatever happens when you start working with a client is what you consider to be the most important first steps toward a client’s success.
And that’s a great subject for a course or workshop.
Plus, it keeps your course focused and prevents it from sprawling into a topic too big to actually cover in a single course or workshop.
