Saw commercial yesterday, daughter sent to me. Lost my wife of 47 yrs two years ago. Bought a m/c and ride it as much as I can. Think of her constantly when riding. I am now 70, hope to make to their age. Wanted to ride yesterday, couldn’t keep eyes dry….Never saw a motorcycle parked outside of a psychiatrists office.
when i lost my wife, i thought the end of
everything had become the end of my life.
this renewed video, has given me more
hope than ever, especially when realizing
these gentlemen were eighty one and
judging from the video they were very sad
but one revived them through a former
activity. a great uplift for us who have had
such a deep deep loss.
I have no moderation to make, video much
appreciated.
very touching more should be made like this !!!!!
I will be 64 on 4/9. When I climb on my Harley and hit the road I’m 25 again. I ride because I love it and because I can. There have been years when I could not. It doesn’t matter what the dream is – as long as you hold on to it – and do your best to fullfill it at whatever level you can. Don.t give up—don’t give in—and do your level best not to give out! Aho!
There really are people my age out there who treasure life as much as I do! Thank you for this. It brought tears to my eyes.
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THE MUSIC???? SO INSPIRATIONAL! LOVED IT!!
we must ride young or old. it is a brave dream. my husband died at 41. he always wanted a motorcycle and was saving for one. my sister needed some money and I loaned her his motorcycle money before I knew what his dream was to do with it. she never paid me back but a fraction of the money.
when he died, he left me some insurance money and I went and got a little Hondamatic, and I said “see Mike, I’m doing this for you.” Live it thru me. I rode it although I was scared to do this in traffic. I grew to love it. what with children taking it out behind my back, I needed to sell it later for their safety. I’m getting older now and dream of having another one; maybe it will come true. beautiful commercial. we must dream.
Great and wonderful!
Brilliant.
Feel like riding again.
Moving. If it weren’t 45 and raining, I’d get the bike out today. Excellent video.
I LOVE this video!
Until the end, I didn’t know it was an ad for a bank! Even then, I believe it is really an ad for the human spirit!
This is so awesome, so inspirational. I’ve had cancer twice, lost my Mother, Father, little sister to it. My two older brothers have had it. I ride a Harley and this video brought me to tears. Thank you to whoever did this.
I’m 82, do more than just ride bikes and the commercial made me feel 92!!
get up in the morning, put a smile on your face, and give it to someone else. always look at the bright side of life.
TEARS! Oh wow. Makes you think about life for sure watching that. Without dreams, what do we have? Very very touching…..never stop dreaming, no matter how old ya get.
My Dad was one of the original “Bikers” from the 60’s. He stopped riding in the early 80’s saying he was “done” and it was no longer fun. Ten years later he co-signed on a BMW for me. Every once in a while my bike would disappear only to return later with my Dad’s smiling face on board. Within six months he had another bike (BMW) and we spent many years on the road together along with other friends, making new ones along the way. After three knee surgeries he had to stop riding and he put me in charge of selling his bike. It was one of the hardest things I ever did. The buyer almost refused to take it when he saw I was ready to cry as I signing the title. The stories and memories from those years are endless, and I will cherish them forever.
Amen.
I’m also 63. Have ridden a lot but lately thought about selling my bike. Makes me remember how lucky I am to have fantastic memories on that Harley. Ride on!!
It made me cry. I am 73 years old and I still
have lots to do. Thanks for shareing this vidio. It inspires me to get busy. Time is waisting! No one is promised tomorrow!!
Blood drawn, blood given, blood taken. Two wheels and a motor plus friends=heaven.
Bank on it.
I am a dreamer and have been chasing my dreams for the past 5 years. This made me want to cry. Very touching. Never give up your dream. No matter how old you are.
This ad is just better than most at doing what nearly all ads strive to do:
Evoke an emotion—meaning suspend your analytical faculties—then subtly attach some product/concept/service to that emotion when your smarts are turned off.
Thereafter, mention of that product, concept or service can re-evoke that emotion and cause you to “like” the item better.
This started well before GM put pretty girls in bathing suits on the fenders of 1942 Buicks. Same formula. Better production.
WOW! heartfelt tears run like these friends did following their dreams.
thank you!
A truly inspiring story incouraging You to keep on living! No matter what!
As the message exhorts – LIVE YOUR DREAMS!! When you live your dreams or are moving towards them, this is a message that makes you say YAAA!! It won’t bring tears, only smiles! LIVE ‘EM!!
I greatly admire these Taiwanese families. Great commercial…and encouragement to live with zest and perseverance in Christ who gives eternal Hope.

Ok, You got me; I’m crying.
So touching. Am nearing their age and I hope to do that too one day. One day.
RIDE TO LIVE … LIVE TO RIDE… good work … well done
Great commercial. Inspirational and heart-warming. It’s too bad that we in America won’t produce these type of ads. If we did, and eschewed the lowest common denominator, we might find that the rest of the world wouldn’t hate us as they do.
Was stationed in Okinawa ” Naha” back in the late 60’s early 70’s and spent much time going over to Taipei , really all over Japan, Phillipines, Taiwain etc. and met the finest people and learned life lessons from all I met during my 3 1/2 years over there.
I have set on the streets talking and eating soba and listening to how they deal with problems and family, we all could learn much if you traveled there to meet the people not just the country, smell the smells, visit the Night Markets etc. This relly took me back, but I am fortunate enough to have gone back there many times. Enjoy life you all.
Papa Tom
Great Vid.
I am 76 this year and still riding my Dragstar 1100 in Spain
Inspirational i loved it
I’m in my late 40’s and enjoy riding with my husband (on the backseat). I always look forward to the weekend rides. I feel I can leave my worries behind and be carefree. We ride with another couple (my best friend and husband). We share the love for motorcycle riding and it’s our 2nd time around dating again, since our children are grown.
Great commercial, cuz we ride with another couple on the weekends and always look forward to our rides. Always a good ride towards the beach or on an open highway.
Now I want another bike. I am proud of anyone who goes for it for real. Never give up
never give up never give up.
wonderful !
(OK so contact me if your leather jacket needs help … or if you want a new one ! )
Motorbiking is a freedom known only to those who have shrugged off caution and embraced the open road where i have met good friends, experienced good times and great memories. As soon as the snow melts, it’s time to start up the Harley and put on some miles: I don’t need a reason, i just need a road.
Why not enjoy the second childhood ?
A great story about some friends that wake up to their lives. It’s all about action, not thinking about it, maybe one day, starting to begin to commence to get ready… It’s about doing something!
There will always be the cynics, doubters, “realistic” people that tell you it can’t be done, and indeed some of them have shown up here.
I encourage everyone (I am talking to myself too, of course) to act on their dreams by taking action. Go on a trip, go back to school, ask that girl out, start that business you are dreaming about, call that friend that you had a tiff with, buy that fatboy, do it today!
The cost of a small dream is the same as the cost of a huge dream – they both cost you your life!
This came to me via Steve Chandler – Google him, he is awesome!
