A LinkedIn Post Format That Got Me 6x More Impressions

A week ago I tried out a new post format on LinkedIn that worked really well.

I haven’t come up with a clever name for it yet, so for the moment I’m just calling it the 5 Question Interview post.

(Not great, I know.)

The basic idea is you interview five different people in the same LinkedIn post, asking each of them a question and encouraging them to answer in the comments.

You can see how I did it here.

All five people I tagged in the post wound up answering and the post generated about 6x the impressions I get on a typical post because of all the engagement.

(It probably helped that some of the people I tagged have big followings.)

Plus, it created a lot of value for my followers because I asked useful questions to smart people who shared helpful answers.

I’ll be trying this format again and encourage you to give a version of it a shot as well.

Speaking of which…

If you try it and tag/ask me a question in the post, I’ll definitely answer you.
