Big mistakes

When Amazon’s Fire Phone flopped, it cost the company hundreds of millions of dollars.  

Jeff Bezos called it a tiny blip and said they were working on much bigger failures now.  

His perspective:  

“The size of your mistakes needs to grow along with the [company]. If it doesn’t, you’re not going to be inventing at scale that can actually move the needle.”  

Something to consider:  

Maybe your own mistakes aren’t too big…maybe they’re not big enough?
