simply priceless, a moving memory for those who lived it and a moving piece of time for those of us who enjoyed watching it.

I’m 59, still ride my 2009 and 2010 Yamaha V-Maxes and hopefully will still be able to ride when I am in my 80’s…although I am sure I will have to downsize my bike to more of what those guys were riding…nevertheless, “Riding”…

Great Stuff!!!

What a way to say,’Do not give in to age.” Inspiring! I was in Taiwan in 1974 when I was still in the US Air Force, Beautiful country.

I am a 57 year old Vet. In 2007 I started riding from Texas to The Wall in DC with a group of Vets and Run for The Wall.
Every year, for the past 23, this group rides from Los Angeles to Washington DC to The Wall to ensure people remember our brothers who never came home from Vietnam.
Every year I see men like these challenge themselves to make this 10 day trip with others. I am one of the young men. We ride so none will ever forget, but we ride for our dreams too!
What a GREAT video. Thank you

wonerful, made me cry.. I ride also and it’s so hard to make a non-rider understand but you’ve managed to do just that.. thank you.

Memories yet to be made. Looking to start riding with a fraternity brother who has the same dream. We graduated in the mid 60’s and went to work, raised kids and now retired we dream of what we wanted to do but did not.

Thanks so much ~ what a powerful vid. Makes one grateful for the simplest, yet most important things in life.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are great men; for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it possible.

Bob Rose March 22, 2011 Reply

Huw get a life! These old guys are on open roads in the country having fun. I’m sure that the original guys, all bikers since their young days, are all good, safe riders.

BDV says “It’s NOT about riding motorcycles! . . . If the guy at the dinner table would have shouted “Let’s raise honeybees!” and they all would have gone off to become beekeepers it’s still the same message.” Obviously, he is not a rider. The guys in this story were riders. You really have to be a rider to understand. It is about men and it is about motorcycles and how motorcycles can contribute to the dream of life. Bee keepers could not have achieved what these motorcycle riders acheived. Live to Ride . . . Ride to Live never had more meaning than after seeing this video. You riders will understand. Some others will too.

Nick Brizzi March 22, 2011 Reply

People who don’t ride have trouble believing us that do when we tell them your cares, aches and pains, and troubles are forgotten when your under throttle. This is a concept you cannot explain and must experience first hand. That’s why I ride. Did I mention you can get really prayed-up when you’re out there!

I haven’t ridden since ’49. Time to ride again. Have to get in shape. Exercise, then my bicycle, then a motorcycle. It will not be my old Harley 45, but I can’t have everything. At 80 I have places to go and on SS the price of gas rules out an auto.
See you on the road.

Randall G March 22, 2011 Reply

yor never to old to dream and remember dreams. dont be afraid to fly and dont be afraid to RIDE Ride on all my biker friends!!!!

I am 70 years old, have been dxed with Parkinson’s, and have had two spine surgeries within the last 18 months (the last one involved fusing 10 discs and having two 16″ rods inserted in my back). I thought my riding days were over bt after watching this video, I’ve decided to by a CanAm spider this spring/

Roger Treend March 22, 2011 Reply

This is the 6th or 7th time I’ve seen this video and my eyes have welled up each time. How wonderful that these men have stayed close together and kept their dreams alive for so long.

Maggie Down March 22, 2011 Reply

Live your life to the end, and never let anyone make you feel your too old, or too decrepit to do so. Anyone that condescending is probably jealous of your zest for life!!! … People like this are inspirational, and courageous. These men are something to be admired, not your Charlie Sheen types… Thank you for sharing this video.

MARILYN PERLMAN March 22, 2011 Reply

I WAS NEVER ABLE TO RIDE A BIKE OR MOTOECYCLE. I WAS VERY TOUCHED WATCHING THESE MEN. I AM 87 AND I WOULD STILL LIKE TO RIDE THANKS FOR SENDING THIS BEAUTIFUL ADVERTISEMENT

Clay March 23, 2011 Reply

All advertising can’t be this good… largely because you never get 3+ minutes. It’s 30 or 60 seconds and a rare 90.

Jennifer Huang March 23, 2011 Reply

I showed it to my daughter who is 11, she was very moved and touched…such amazing clip with beautiful story. This clip will always stay in my heart. Life is so dear precious…

It’s an awesome spirit. Great commercial. And as posted before, if I have to explain it, you won’t understand. You all need to see the movie, The Worlds Fastest Indian. The story of Burt Munro.

I would really like to see this ad actually all over the TV. This is unfortunately a dream that is only shared very quietly, but it is the real truth, that there is more in us all than we may think.

Of all these many postings, only a few are negative. That should satisfy the viewpoint of those who are concerned with the commercial end of this production, it is after all the response to your message that is ultimately important. For everyone else; how wonderful to see such celebration of life and the joys inherent in the human experience when it is just lived to the fullest for ones self and for family and friends. For those other few, it always amazes me how some people always have to have something negative to say about everything. Live, laugh, ride, walk, run; love.
