WOW! This is a truly wondrful video – never saw so many positive remarks and comments. The video is not only inspirational but it’s poignant and delightful! All people should have this much joy in their lives. Keep ridin’!!!!!!!!!
MY husband’s dear mother died this morning at 9:30 a.m. (March 13, 2011). I received this commercial from a friend this afternoon and shared it with my husband … we’re both comforted by it’s message — if you live your dream, you can go on forever. My thanks to Josh Spector — I don’t know who you are, but you touched us today.
Great ad. But folks, really. It’s NOT about riding motorcycles! Watch it again and listen to the questions. If the guy at the dinner table would have shouted “Let’s raise honeybees!” and they all would have gone off to become beekeepers it’s still the same message. The ad asks the questions, they show the images (pills being thrown, x-rays of disease, etc.)but it’s up to us to answer the question. My gosh, don’t everyone run off to buy a bike.
To Guy, – Bon anniversaire et bonne route!
Rode my father’s bike at 14 and that was the last ride as my mother forced my father to sell it lest I break my neck ! 52 years later I am thinking of buying a bike to live my father’s dream……
Truly an inspired event, awesome story.
I ride with a group made up mostly of seniors. We just completed a 300 mile roundtrip ride today from Las Vegas, NV to Lake Havasu, AZ. Great ride but some people have difficulty following rules.
IM ready!!!!!!!!
I am buying that Harley Trike!!!
Thank you for reminding me the reason why I want to live my life.
God Bless….they have got THAT right!!! PERFECT example for us all…any age!
I heard that they are all coming to Sturgis this year!
Wow…simply moving! Son would have been 27 on 3-12-11….feeling like I’m kinda just existing after losing him…what an inspiration…simple truth…not to simply live but to live alive!
I’m still riding at 70. They will have to pry my motorcycle from between my legs.
Thank You…as my sweetheart Alan and I age, we hold on to riding our motorcycles – and will for as long as possible. It’s the one thing we do that makes us feel free – light. It’s a beautiful story full of possibilities, of loving, sharing, remebering and creating a new memory when the chances for creating experiences dwindles. They can go now – to join the others. Ride – just keep riding…..
fabulous…no to find 7 other 70 yr ols to do this with me
It touched me! Real motivation to carry on with life! The leaving have left and the living must live!!!
This is the third time that this clip has come my way. Last weekend I was riding the old Triumph 500 twin, and a couple in their 30’s on a new Harley pulled up beside at a light.
“How’ya doin’,” he said, and my reply was that I was 72 and still riding. They both grinned and gave me a huge thumbs up.
I ride a lot, and it gives me the greatest pleasure to point out to the kids how riding keeps you young.
Wonderful advt. for the bank or for “Dream”?You need to dream to have a great life.Dream will keep you young always.I enjoyed the commercial
I love this commercial. I am 68 and I am an enthusiast of cardiovascular exercise. It is good for the health. It makes one feel young once again. I am also a bike riding enthusiast having rode motor bikes for 50 years. It makes one feel good and free.
What do we live for? The glory of God our Father & to love and do good to His people here on earth.
The video brought a tear to my eye, our minds and our hearts stay young – if we live in God’s grace – till He takes us to our Real Home!
Very moving. In some ways it reminds me of my recent trip “Ride for Paul”. (www.walterposner.blogspot.com)
Though I have never been a motorcycle enthusiast I was inspired. Keep on doing what you are able to be doing. For me it’s still running, yes I’m 63 as well.
Life’s journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in side ways, totalty worn out, shouting HOLY CRAP, WHAT A RIDE
Ride forever…..Forever ride
Brought tears to my eyes. Crank it up. Race boats, ride motorcycles, drive a fast car, live right on the edge – there’s nothing close!
One good commercial, human inspiration !!
I’m 68 and still rideing and will as long as I can! I started rideing at 14yrs of age. Gee this is great!! I have 3 harly’s and a 1967 350 honda. I think I’ll have to pull out the Honda for a ride! Ride Safe!!!
i battle depression daily as these men did. im only 50 and no reason to feel this way. its something i have to live with. past two days ive been struggling with a reason to keep going. God blessed me with 3 random messages (this one of them and the tops) to keep going. ive wanted my own cycle since a young child. at 50 i feel ive wasted my life and none left to live. this commercial touched me so deep i cant stop crying and for good reasons too. thank God, these men and the people who made this commercial. God Bless and thanks more than words can say
Just an AB”SOUL”UTELY Beautiful Segment! Bold. Passionate. Heart-filled. Created & Delivered with Grace and Dignity… This Segment… YOUR Segment… embodies a Tremendous SPIRIT & SOUL.
Alas, given the “times” we are experiencing the World over, it was indeed a BLESSING to watch and share.
May God Bless You…
and ALL Your Rides!
TC’zek
Thanks for that!! (One of two old farts that “do” the Sahara every year!!)
amazing fantastic, but to be inn a better condition, just write
That made me want to keep flying no matter

Most advertising _is_ this good Josh.
It is all relative.
Advertisers have one goal…to sell you something…even if that means “pulling at your heart strings”.
Watch “Century of the Self” to see how psychology and corporations have used human emotion and desire to sell things to for over 100 years.
Now ask yourself, what is being sold to you when this kind of story is put in a movie?
I loved this… I cried..
I believe in living life, no matter what age, not just existing.
You got me….it made me care for others, cry and crave life! I am grateful!
I don’t care about the marketing angle. It speaks to the gut, the human spirit and is just plain inspirational at its core…and that is a rare treasure. At 67 I have been without my Yamaha 650 Special for 17 years. I’ll count that as a regret.
I read a reply from Mark on March 4th [please read]. Mark to live a life, first requirement is to have a heart. I think trying to find your first, will help you understand how compasion and humility work.
Great story, this is understanding how to live a life, freedom with friends.
Luckily, none of them had bad hemorrhoids. That wakes you from the dream pretty quickly.
Where there is hope and dreaming THERE IS LIFE!! May these people live out their lives with compassion and passion.
Turning 61 this weekend, just bought a TREK 6.9 last month, doing 100 mile bicycle rides now, weighed 247 pounds a few years ago – this video makes me know I’m on the right path. And yes, it touched me in the soul.
Thank you! Being present keeps you young, and that is what riding is all about!
Hello i am 68 years young march 18 have been riding since age 3 whith my uncle he used to sit me on the gas tank hanghin on to the handle bars.At 17 ibought a1947 ironhead rebuilt it rode it 40.000 miles .After that i owned a total of 13 cycles rode around 125.000 miles of pure bliss made friends whith hundreds of great men and women on my bike it was the best time of my life. But one day my doc told me i was done my heart was shot had three attacks developed atzma poison in the blood from black mold and some other goodys so after 20 blood transfusions and countless xrays but no results i stopped the mdical c—-p and went home. no income means poverty sold my babies to pay the bills .I have saved my own life but my heart went whith my last bike 89 lowrider.I am not done yet if i ever can afford a bike again i will be on the road again .Those young guys in the film have the right idea when i saw the film i got very emotional and i got tears in mi eyes.So long for now maybe we will meet on the road some day. HAVE AGREAT RIDE; JOE
Does this mean TD bank needs a bailout?
This piece of film was so moving for me, and made me truly understand that if we don’t make the best out of every minute of our lives, what’s the point of living. This film shows the essense of living. Very moving!!!
These guys “get” it. And it’s why we have a passion for motorcycles.
Thanks,Cousin Richard. Just what I needed. Elaine is in Japan (Akita U student from Ursinus PA. college)
Please pray for her. She is 20 and wants to make her own decision. Her mother and stepfather are very upset that Ursinus is not making any effort to return their students, while Temple U, Philly IS.
Mother’s address is jmyshane@hotmail.com or send to me and I will fwd to one of her several email addresses. Also shanej@philau.edu
Love to you and Nancy.
Best I Have seen in a long time with true meaning to LIFE.
Aging in itself is not a curse, to existence requires the passing of years. Growth and maturity are desirable characteristics. But the ravages of six thousand years of sin and imperfection that we see around us will come to an end. Every obedient human will enjoy life as it was intended, without the pain of old age and death. (Genesis 1:28; Revelation 21:4, 5) At that time, “no resident will say: ‘I am sick.’” (Isaiah 33:24) Elderly ones will return to the days of their “youthful vigor,” and their flesh will “become fresher than in youth.” (Job 33:25) However, for now, all must contend with the sin and death inherited from Adam. This video brings tears to my eyes and makes me think of the grand future when we can return to our youthful vigor as promised in the Bible!!!
Very moving! Loved its message!
