The Reason Your Subscribers Don’t Buy From You

Your newsletter isn’t converting because it’s attracting the wrong people.

It may be about a similar topic, but it promises a different result than your product or service.

I see this ALL the time.

For example:

Let’s say you’re a sales consultant who gets hired by startups to build sales teams.

You share sales tips in your newsletter.

That seems like a good way to showcase your expertise.

And it is.

But it attracts salespeople who want to get better at selling.

Those aren’t your buyers.

They won’t hire you no matter how much they enjoy your newsletter.

You need to write for the founders who would hire you.

They don’t want sales tips.

They want sales management advice.

That subtle difference means your newsletter is misaligned with what you sell.

So you end up with readers who like your content…

But never become clients.

If you think this might be happening, try this:

Compare the outcome promised on your newsletter signup page with the result promised on your sales page.

They should match.

If they don’t, you’re probably attracting the wrong audience.

PS – Once you have good alignment, these email templates will help you turn subscribers into buyers.
