A few days ago, we launched a new Academy website at Oscars.org.
It was a huge project I oversaw that’s been in the works for a long time and I’m very happy with how it all turned out. I’ll spare you all the details, but if you’re interested you can read all about it in some of the press stories that ran about its launch.
A couple of my favorites include this LA Times article which features some quotes from me and this Gizmodo piece that calls the site “such a smart move on the Academy’s part.”
We also produced a video to introduce the site and some of its new features to people which you can check out below – it’s a pretty good overview of what we’ve created.
