When it comes to newsletter sponsorships, my job isn’t to “sell” a sponsor’s product in my newsletter. It’s to drive my audience into their world where they’ll be able to sell them much better than anyone else ever could.
(Unless they suck.)
I believe newsletter ads are ALL about the click and anything not optimized for that (by both ad buyer and seller) is a mistake at best and a rip off at worst.
