Commercials aren’t that good because we don’t try to make them good anymore, just make them plentiful. Every commercial break these days is 4-5 minutes long with 7-10 commercials. I only record shows now so I can zip past them. They spend more and more money for shorter airtime and are seen less and less.

Bob February 26, 2016 Reply

I dunno, I think Madison Avenue still attracts a lot of good talent .. of course not quite as fun as in the days before the Feds got involved. I’d still walk a mile for a Camel and I’d certainly rather fight than switch.

EXCELLENT Story. Bugger what life deals you, kick it’s but. Gather your friends get on a bike (or trike) and ride. ENJOY LIFE while you can, none of us are getting out of it alive. Have a good one.

Well its basically a great short film and who remembers the name of the bank? Indeed what does it have to do with a bank. All the comments are about the moral to live life to the full…also, for me, about long friendships and shared experience and mutual support. Really inspiring short film, rubbish advert as the last thing that film made me think about was the bank, other than taking all my money out and having a great time…no bank would make money on that basis….

Dennis October 20, 2015 Reply

For Geno. Go for it. Just do it. 😉

Grant January 18, 2016 Reply

It’s a good advertisement if at any point during the film you say to yourself, “I’m not going to wait until I’m old, ill, deaf, and alone to make my dream come true. I’m not going to let anything stand in the way of fulfilling my dream,” and if anything about your dream requires capital that TC Bank might be able to provide.

Viv January 20, 2016 Reply

Actually, I made a note to look for the sponsor ( TC Bank , Taiwan).
I would make an effort to patronize sponsors of products and services that brought great life stories like this to commercial TV instead of the drivel we see everyday.

What makes this ad great is the men’s desire to KEEP actively living instead of giving in to age, illness, etc. What fun!!! Wish we could each find a way.

Nice to see this old video is still going around and having a positive impact .

I’m old and survived a fatal Motocycle accident in 2008 , I walk with a cane now but I still like to ride my Moto . it really opens your mind and helps you to appreciate life .

the Social Secretary of one of the Moto Clubs I’m in , rode his vintage Yamaha until he was _84_ and couldn’t any longer , we still miss him .

Ride hard , far and wide but always _SAFELY_ .

This was an e-mail from my dentist (H.I.) a few years back , I was reviewing old e-mails and my phone would not play the video ,but I know it well . Reminds me of my father , old but was willing . I’m sorry we did not have the time to take a ride together . I miss you so much . I’m going to make sure my son won’t be able to say the same! You just watch dad! MAF

-Nate January 15, 2016 Reply

You hit the nail on the head Michael ~ I began taking my Son on Moto rides when he was 6 and bought him his own Moto when he was 13 , paid for his MSF training when he was 17 and we’ve spent decades of happy miles riding to – gether .

Of course , he learned to ride far better than I ever did and is faster and (I think) safer than I ever was .

Now my 2 – 1/2 year oldGrand Daughter is learning to ride her own Moto with clutch….

They grow so fast .

I am 70 years of age and have had the very good fortune to have keen able to ride for over 55years. Had to stop die to ill health a few years ago, however a bike is still in the garage at the farm, waiting for me to get back at it.
This incredible commercial made my heart swell with pride and has given me a boost. I am determined to be back on the road on a bike in the near future…. riding (both solo and with my wife and son) opened up new worlds and loads of adventures and challenges…. none of which I regret….
thanks again and i’ll see you on the road…

I’ll be 71 next month-Feb 2016. I understand their losses as in less than a year I lost 2 sisters and a B I L. Been riding since I was 13. Was in Spearfish S D June of 15. Going to Morgantown W V June of 16 for our rally. I live in South Central Missouri and still manage 13-14 thousand miles a year on 2 wheels. Amazes me still how fast my aches and pains go away when I put her in gear and let the clutch out. Most days I just follow the front wheel with no real destination in mind. Worked the flight deck on an Aircraft Carrier in Nam and M/C riding is close to the same rush. I’ve lost family and friends over the years BUT I meet a lot of interesting folks when I ride. And I’m NOT shy bout the M/C I ride-you ask me I WILL let you know about her. RIDE SAFE.

Thank you. You immediately caught my heart–as this voice, music, genius photography, & soul-stirring story connected to some in the past that I’ve tried to save: all from the same bank.
I’m 78, and a retired nurse. No motorcycle– but an antique gold concert Harp that I play all day in the Hospital, from floor to floor. (Also putting them at it, as I catch their amazed faces–playing solo–while I’m returning their cell phone, a moment later.) For two minutes, their pain vanishes. This volunteer job, once a mo, for 7 yrs, needs no other payment…
Harp Therapy… Cycle Therapy– can we be related?
I would be so honored, if so. Please let me help you to continue this priceless gift you send with your films.
Thank you. Bless you. Never stop!
