Best Buy, like so many companies that once dominated their industries but slept on technology, is likely on its way to extinction. But, it doesn’t have to be that way.
This Forbes article spells out an interesting (and I believe intelligent) approach to how Best Buy could reinvent itself and become successful again. Of course, they’ll never actually do it because companies like that never seem to be able to change.

Josh, this was a good pick! Having been ‘forced’ to visit BB a couple times in the past month, I couldn’t agree more with the authors assessment of the company. I couldn’t get anyone to talk to me about my concerns on my computer issues and the 3 clowns that did bother to give me ‘the customer’ any time, were only interested in selling me a brand new computer. I am not a pc geek and needed to be treated as such. It pays to have geeks as friends and I got a much better deal with a private individual who has a very good reputation for recycled computers. It absolutely suits my needs and am very pleased with my purchase. Thanks again for the article Josh!
