This Is What It Looked Like When Teenagers Slow Danced In The 80′s

I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to this video. It’s from what looks like some kind of low-budget version of a teenage TV dance show in the 1980s and the footage of a bunch of teenagers slow dancing while they intensely stare at each other is pretty hilarious.

Meanwhile, the announcer is telling us about each of the participants and revealing all kinds of amusing things about their backgrounds – for example, while Kelly and Mike are staring into each other’s eyes the announcer reveals that Kelly looks for her boyfriend to be by her side while Mike looks for his Mom to be by his side. Awk…ward.
