This video features a short documentary about a 23-year-old Chris Rock that was shot by a student at NYU film school back in 1989. It’s pretty interesting, including some early clips of Rock’s standup and an interview with his mom where she talks about being disappointed that he’s pursuing comedy instead of college. I’m guessing that she’s not disappointed any more.
